I have all the Kingdom Rush games and this one is definitely the worst. With the initial purchase of the game only about half the game is available to you. So many heroes, towers, and campaign levels are locked behind very expensive paywalls (most heroes and towers cost as much as the game itself). The update system was lacking. Overall, this iteration was very lackluster and didn't feel like the devs put much effort into it. Very unfortunate, because I really loved the previous versions
It's okay but, it's a lot worse than frontiers. It's crazy to think they want you to pay something like 75$ to get everything for this kind of short game. Instead of making a great game like the first 2 they focused more on greed and leveraging our nostalgia. No survival mode either... This game should have 100 levels for what they expect you to pay.
Overall, i like the game. its definitely way easier than the other kindom rush games and has way more options for strategies. my main complaint is that there's no like infinite wave survival mode which was 90% of the reason I played these games. After you beat the story, which is somewhat short, there is just nothing unless you get DLC campaigns. This, of course, means I'm gonna go back and play Kingdom rush frontiers, and probably not touch this again. add survival mode with multiple maps? pls
The game purchase price was like $6. What they don't tell you is that half of the heros and defense towers are locked behind micro transactions. $2 per hero or tower. This is scummy pricing behavior. I understand that the devs need to make money. But I had no idea I was buying half a game. I read through the description and nothing was mentioned that I was buying half of a product. Very deceptive to thier consumer, mobile games are out of control.
