I have been a big fan of TD games since I was a child. 8 years ago I discovered this developer and have been enthralled with the games ever since. I love the difficulty threshold in each game and am extremely satisfied with each iteration. I am not interested in KRB given the emphasis on monetization, but to say these producer do not know what they are doing when creating a tower defense game is a crime in itself.
dont buy this version. its super restrictive still. 18 champions to choose from but you gotta buy 14 of them. ranging 3-8 bucks a piece. this is a blatant rip off! 20 bucks FOR game on pc gets you EVERYTHING! im convinced its also harder as an attempt to get you to buy power ups. fun game, bad execution, do better!
Edit: game is okay. Entire campaign should have been included in game price. Just set the price higher next time instead of hiding 5 levels behind a paywall. Doesn't make sense. Edit2: in response to developer, I still believe it makes more sense to charge the appropriate fee for all levels up front, even if it's a higher fee. I'm not talking about special characters or anything, it would have just been nice if all levels were included.
It's a nice Kingdom Rush game, but I'm not sure why they decided not to include an encyclopedia this time. Once you read the tip for an enemy once, it's gone forever. Also, the game will glitch if you do the bonus stages in the "wrong" order (though it doesn't tell you what the order is). I expected more from the highest priced game in the series.
