The basic puzzles common to this franchise are about as expected. It's a paid game, with extra payments, and feels scammy, ESPECIALLY the bizarre "My Hero" game mode, which is all but impossible to complete without buying infinite gems (I had Play Pass for this), and even then, you'll need to spam microtransactions a few million times if you want to get 14 of the 16 achievements. The 2 "hidden" achievements are broken, actually, formerly rewarded for engaging in marketing.
Its about the same as the other games. I didn't see a point of the "hero". Im glad i tried it out on playpass. Not all repeated recipes was excluded with the disabler active. Especially when using hints. Wasted hints bad. Some "creations" was poorly thought out. After a while you just stop bothering. I don't know why I was expecting something more.
I don't understand what happened. Over 1666 gems (I had more, but remember giggling at the number when I hit it in hero mode at lunch today) and 5000+ gold GONE. Also somehow it kicked me back to the forest region instead of the cavernous/mushroom area I was going through - somehow with the quest and all armor intact when I shouldn't have had it that early on?? Also the hints I bought in the main game *poof*!! I logged into Facebook and everything to keep my progress, but it's just gone.
This game is really interesting to combine things to make new elements. Sometimes, it doesn't make sense, which brings it charm. Overall, it's enjoyable and fun, especially the story mode in which we need to reach a certain goal within the story. The hero mode is fun, but it takes too long to level up after 16 levels. Kudos to all team members in creating this work 👏🏻
