I love this game! But the beginning levels are way to hard and theres very little instruction on how the game works. The healing potions are few and far between, and they dont carry over into new stages. I also hate how the second I die, I go right back to square 1. 3-4 minutes for a rookie to find 4 keys spread all across the map, which you are very unfamiliar with. And the battle machines that chase you in some of the gold rewards are ridiculously fast. NOT rookie friendly at all.
At first, I thought this was just like a free demo for a game that I'd need to pay for due to how good it was, it wasn't. It's 100% free and it's really REALLY good, it's got tons-a-weapons that work all different from each other, very original stages, overall 10/10. My only suggestion, add a rising slash, not so original but would help you do 5 attack combos or more, plus it would give the downwards cleave an actual purpose (not only on the weapons that have a downward cleave though) out of spc
The love-hate relationship I have with this game is crazy. I can't exactly think of anything 'wrong' with it, just that the difficulty is brutal, and one mistake can have all of your progress jeopardized. (That isn't really a fault, just something that new players should know) On the other hand, the gameplay is absolutely fantastic. The movement, the combat, it's all amazing. The story is interesting, and the art style has a special place in my heart. I only wish it less. microtransactions.
This game is amazing... I had my doubts going in but can't seem to stop playing it. The only thing I want to point out is the key bindings for a controller. If you could please make it so I can make the buttons what I want. Like jump as X instead of 🔺️... etc. Other than that, I'd highly recommend playing it. Careful it is addictive!!! Don't say I didn't warn ya!!! A++++++
