I installed the app just to check the remaining data balance on my prepaid card. Unfortunately, the app requires that I set up an account, and as part of that process it asks for my country. I happen to be traveling from the U.S. to Spain, and neither country shows up in the app's list of countries. So the app is completely useless to me.
App used to be 5 stars, now it is 0 stars because it no longer works. Account info no longer gets updated. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but now it won't accept my login info due to "technical difficulties." It suggests "trying again in a few minutes," but after days (not just minutes) of "trying again" it still does not work. That's a shame because it is a nice app, when it works. If the app developer sees this, please fix. Using the website to check acct balance and history is clunky!
data usage is totally inaccurate. I have 10 GB monthly. Bought 2 more GB then another 2 GB. That's 14 GB. my phone says I've used 10.1 GB. Now Lebara says I'm running out again. How can it be so inaccurate. Very suspicious about that making me buy more and more data. Very dubious behaviour. plus I get maximum 1.7 Mbs connection speed. very very very poor. Appalling customer service and can't believe I could not change my email address without closing my account and starting a new one. so poor.
Well designed App that gives a lot of useful information. In England I am very satisfied. However, the "roaming like home" facility for the Isle of Mann (IoM) did not work. The App then offered a specific IoM roaming package for £5 that also did not work. I could not call IoM phones nor other Lebara users (3) on the island. The other three Lebara users had the same problem. However, calling a Lebara agent to get a refund upon returning to England was very straightforward.
