Rite of Passage: Hide and Seek will take you to the sleepy town of Greystone. Long ago, it was a perfect place for any child to grow up in, but one day, a bunch of kids began a game of hide and seek. A mysterious fog appeared soon after engulfing all of them, including you. Somehow, even though you were just a little girl, you managed to escape, but the fog took your brother and later your father as well after he went to find him. Now, 20 years later, you decide to return to the same town and unravel this icy mystery no matter what. You arrive at the town, but you find it buried in snow and covered in ice, as well as practically deserted. Do you have what it takes to finish this immersive adventure and find deep-buried answers?

This is an okay game, controls are kind of non- responsive and it's not very intuitive, but maybe that's the point. I still recommend you give it try because it does have some fun aspects. Update: Playing this game two years later (2024) and the controls seem to have been fixed. You still have to put some things in very certain areas but it's not bad. I enjoyed playing it. There is one hop where it would not let me get morph object so no achievement, it's the thermometer.
Update. 2/28/24. Purchased a new, more advanced tablet for Christmas, and so I've decided to revisit some of my old games. Well, unless some of the graphics changed or game play. I was very pleased. Not the best game. The game doesn't fit my tablet screen making objects too small and writing too impossible to read. If I could get my money back for this one i would. I should have gave more thought to the other reviews. I tried to contact support, but the email came back failed.
Good game and graphics. Halfway through the handprint indicator stopped working so it makes you think there's no handprint in that scene. Also the morph objects do not always morph in scenes. Harder to find them and once found the indicator keeps swirling like it wasn't found. Update: Finished game. Upped rating to 5 stars. You can go back without restarting game to find missing handprints and morphing objects. Very good option! I will play more of your games, great job
Great story and a long play, but two of the HOPS were difficult start. The arcade game won't accept the coins that show the list of items to be found. Took a long time of flicking the coins at the slots to accept them. I say flick, because it would not work if you just put the coin directly on the slot. Same thing occurred in the second HOP that was set up the same way. Otherwise if would have been 5 stars.
