HOW TO PLAY
In Kingdomino, each player builds a 5x5 kingdom by connecting domino-like tiles showing different terrains (forest, lakes, fields, mountains, etc.). Each domino has two squares with different or matching terrains. Some tiles have crowns that multiply points.
1. Players start with a single castle tile
2. Each round, players take turns selecting tiles from the available options
3. The order you pick in the current round determines when you'll pick in the next round (picking a better tile means picking later next time)
4. When placing a tile, at least one side must connect to a matching terrain type (like Dominoes)
5. If you can't legally place your tile, you must discard it
At the end, you score points by multiplying the size of each connected square in a territory by the number of crowns in that territory. For example, if you have 4 connected forest squares with 2 crowns, that's worth 8 points.
The player with the most points wins!

I would give it more stars if it had better accessibility features. I have color deficiency and it's challenging for me to group the, what I am told are, yellowish and green squares. I 100% realize this is my issue and it's just a game, but I would love to see some kind of a "color blind" mode to enable so I can actually win against my wife. 😎
Great adaptation of the board game. be ready for lots of in game purchases. If you want the original tiles, you'll pay. If you want custom meeples, you'll pay. If you want custom castles, you'll pay. Eventually there's a expansion...which I'm guessing will come with a cost. Can't we ever just get a fully released game anymore? Especially if we pay to buy it.
I love the board game. This version is great too! it is really cute. I did have one small error. The lake frame with the squid inaccessible to me. It was the part frame I needed to unlock. The red exclamation point is showing, but it just isn't there.
there's occasional lagging where i can't move the dominos but aside from that, everything is perfect
