Super playable. Easy yet challenging levels. Lost 2 stars after I realized that the leaderboards are fake. I can put my device in airplane mode, start the game, and still progress through the leaderboards as if it had access to the Internet to update the lists. To regain those 2 stars, they need to make an actual leaderboard, or abolish it. I don't like being lied to, especially when I know the truth.
Definitely one of the better Hex puzzle games out there in terms of development. However, the intrusive ads at the end of each level are absolutely annoying! They currently don't have the ability to purchase an Ads free version, which makes me consider uninstalling. I want to zone in so badly...... but with the excessive ads, I play maybe 3 levels and shut it down.
This is my absolute favorite game of all that I have played. You earn coins & tools by playing more so you don't have to buy packs unless you want to. I've played over 2300 levels, & it was relatively ad free until about level 2100. But you can watch ads for free tools if you don't have enough coins. There are Space Race & Daily Challenge along with the fast-paced regular game, & rewards for top players of the day & week. BTW, I have bought a few things from the ads, & I have been happy w/ each.
Probably the best puzzle app I have found so far. It is challenging but not impossible. You may rank a lower percentile for each puzzle if you take your time but percentile ranking does not really impact the score which is 10 points for most. You will be able to try again and again if you cannot solve in so many moves. You will learn as you go. So, take your time and enjoy.
