while some people may like this app and while it's mission or is meant to help with anxiety, I was disappointed, especially after using the nerva by the same company. it seems to me like the claria audio that is called hypnosis repeats 3 days in a row and is more cognitive than I would expect in a hypnosis session and I do not like the voice of the narrator. I feel like I've been given a talk rather than a guided session that taps into creativity And the imagination.
This is $200/ year with a 7 day free trial, no option for monthly. I'm familiar with Dr. Yapko's work so maybe it's worth it, I'll edit my review after I get more into the material. Update: Lowered a star because they REQUIRE you to put in the name of your Healthcare provider, pretty intrusive in my opinion. ALSO I'm very interested in lesson 13 about sleep but you have to do the program in order and it's locked, EVEN after you pay for it! So I'm going to use the trial and that's it.
Claria is exceptional in its breadth and content. Michael is comfortable to listen to, and his messages are easily absorbed. I have explored a number of self-help apps, and this program is by far the most comprehensive and provides the listener with everything they need to gently and efficiently develop healthy thought patterns. I am so impressed that I have purchased subscriptions for some of my family members.
I've used nerva app for IBS with great results so was really looking forward this app from Mindset Health especially since I've heard about Dr Yapko before. I don't have depression but have had very challenging last few years (losses in all areas of life), I am about half way through the program and already have benefited greatly from the content which is a mix of CBT and hypnosis.
