What is Freecell?
Freecell was created by Paul Alfille. He worked at the University of Illinois and programmed the first version of the game in 1978.

The rules of the game
The goal of Freecell is to create four stacks of cards in the Foundations - arranged in ascending order (Ace to King) and of the same suit. The four "free cells" on the upper part of the game are used for storing cards temporarily.
You can move any card freely to an empty cell. Cards can be moved to a pile or between piles, as long as it’s placed on top of a card that is next in rank and of the opposite color.

For the most part I find the game intriguing, relaxing even when it takes a long time to win! I like the moving images after the game ends. Those are pretty clever. What bothers me is some of the "restricted" moves. When there are four consecutive cards and two empty spaces I am unable to move those cards to another column of cards without having to split them into two different moves. This also happens with other consecutive cards. This didn't happen in other freecell programs I used.
It's similar to others I tried, I do like these type of games that work out & not too easily. Have to wait and see if this is as good as previous ones I tried. By that I mean bright red or brightly coloured blotchy type adverts that irritate my eyes. That will make me uninstall if they start.
