Interesting game, but ultimately the military unit tactics management is way too fiddly. The game really needs a single button to unequip all tactics from all units. You need to adjust your active units and tactics cards with every battle, which necessitates constant unequiping and reequipping. There is just too much tapping in and out of unit menus to keep the fun going.
the game was great before the new art change it looked like a game you don't see very often but is very enjoyable but with the new art change it makes all the units,tactics,etc just look unoriginal terrible and outright egregious and I can't stand it I previously had a 5 star rating but due to the art change on everything I'm changing it to a 2 star please change it back it looked great before why change something that didn't need to be changed and was a core reason behind a great game
The game is fun, if a bit repetitive at the start. It is a given that empires fall, so it is normal that enemy armies scale to be stronger than your own. The game is not about surviving forever. It is about surviving the longest. Edit: Problems arise in combat later on, where the preview does not correctly show what tactics the enemy legions are using.
This game has so much promise but ultimately delivers on little of it. I'd still recommend giving it a shot since it's still better than most mobile games, but it has a lot of room for improvement and atm wouldn't spend on it. The problems are: 1: Your stats end up feeling mostly like flavor text. Having a high military stat, for example, hardly helps your military at all 2: legion healing in finicky: your legions won't passively heal on their own... Much more to say over word limit count.
