I use this app with the device and I really love having an easy and accessible device with physical buttons rather than having to look for and open an app. This ease and speed cannot be overstated. HOWEVER, the app itself is buggy. There is no offline mode (why!?). There are times when the app fails to load. There have been times when tracking start and end time of pumping through the app, I open it a few hours later and timer is still going. Syncing issues. I like it but it needs WORK.
The "Detail" button is an icon of a line graph but the actual chart is something else and not useful as the dots all cover each other don't actually show amounts. If you want to pull the raw data yourself it's hidden behind a paywall - even if you bought the expensive device. So many missed opportunities to actually help parents. Their feedback board has so many good ideas, but little implementation.
It's a must have for newborns. I don't know what people did before this app. I have a 1wk old and couldn't imagine keeping track of all of this info in my sleep deprived state. imo, best part is, it's fully functional in its free version. I'm looking to subscribe just to give the devs some money for my appreciation. Simple yet effective tracker for your new born.
My husband and I are loving the Talli Baby app and device! Our first child was born 9 days ago, so this is all quite new to us! We have both been taking turns taking care of the baby, so this app provides a simple, centralized way to track what we each do. Even if we're sleep-deprived, we just have to remember to press a button to log a diaper change or feeding. It's also great for when we go to the doctor, because we can tell them exactly how many diapers baby goes through, etc.
