AWESOME!! I was looking for a basic music writing app and I found it!! it has a ton of features that I don't know how to use yet but it absolutely hit the bullseye of what I wanted to do. I wanted to write a melody and then be able to transpose it. the learning curve was about an hour but I learned a lot and it actually helped me understand music a little more. really really excellent app I was happy to pay!

Perfect for my needs (especially on PC) but very clunky on a phone (unsure about tablet). You have to zoom all the way in to ensure your note gets placed where you want it. Maybe they could implement some sort of pointer feature since your finger is always going to block your view. Trying to pan around often ends up in wacky note placement. I say this app is good in a pinch for little things but might be too frustrating past that. If you can, give it a shot on a larger screen 👍

I've had the paid version for my laptop and the android version for my tablet for quite a while. Absolutely loved it and recommended it to other people I know. Then I bought a tablet whose operating system is android 14. Don't waste your time if that's what you have. Any files you create will be very hard to find- if you can even find them! You can't set a default location and you can't save your files in the main folders. Instead you get a warning saying you don't have permission to save there.

This application is very buggie. It is free, but I ended up buying it (because I like to support the work someone does to create a useful application). However it has many problems. Can't save my work. When using two staves there are times when the second staff will not retain the key signature. There are other problems that are too numerous to list. I am unable to recommend this app.
