I'm very picky about mobile games. Especially on depth, day to day fun, progression and forced microtransations. This game really does well in all of those areas. I think its a bit daunting with all the working mechanics but I got the hang of it and never felt forced to use IAPs. However the more i like it, the more I'll be willing to spend. This is the way it should be
Seconding what others have said about game not working at all on Galaxy S22 Ultra. I have a super old account I just can't use now. The game itself is okay and I keep getting pulled back in. Maybe this is for the best? It's incredible how much money they want to try to charge for everything, as it's painfully slow otherwise. It's a good enough game that I'm fine spending some cash. But I could buy a new console and TV in a matter of months with all the money they want to charge! Caveat emptor.
Overall a fun game that keeps you coming back and has a reasonable amount of adds (if you don't pay that play) - you only view adds in order to get shards of each tower card (get enough shards of a rare card and you can craft the actual card). UI works well and gameplay is smooth. My only complaint is the lack of information during some parts of the game. For some battles, certain cards cannot be used, though no explanation as to why is given.
Still trying to determine how balanced the game is. But overall challenging and addicting. I would definitely recommend. Not a super casual game. You will need half hour blocks of time to really get into it at least. A little confusing in the beginning as to how to level things up and what is important but can be learned with a little patience. Only rated 4 stars because of difficult understanding how the game is balanced and lack of tutorials other than the basic ones.
