Thousands of creature combinations evolve from 17 cards with unique characteristics, which means that no two decks are the same. Expansions are available if you want more content to mix it up at the Watering Hole.

Too many bugs. I've paid for this app on my phone and tablet but chances are 50/50 whether an online game will work or not. Sometimes it stops working in the middle of a game, and sometimes the screen goes blank as soon as a new one starts. Intelligent carnivores have eaten from the watering hole. People haven't been able to create new species with their trait cards. Graphics are great, but when most of my time on the app is spent reporting bugs, something is wrong.
Overall I like it, especially for a game I have never seen before. The one major downfall is a convoluted payment system that charges nearly 10 bucks for the "full game" then requires you to purchase card packs individually. My gripe with it is that nowhere does it say that the cards are or are not included. I wanted the extra cards and assumed if I bought the full game I would get access, which I did not. Disappointed, but not world ending. Clarity would be appreciated next time.
This game has a lot of potential, but sadly, it's not ready for primetime. I'm experiencing frequent disconnects in multiplayer games, despite having a stable internet connection. I'm certain these issues are serverside. And if I get disconnected, I have no idea if I qualify for the giveaway. Other odd quirks, like the game requiring an email address for multiplayer but refusing to accept my email address, my screen name being changed to random gibberish, and a battery hog on my Pixel XL.
I thoroughly enjoyed the game, however I wish there was more content available. I know there's multiplayer and AI games which are great, but I wish there were more unique species to play against. If they're not already working on it, I'd love to see DLC watering holes. I'd gladly drop a couple of dollars for 20 or so more watering holes.
