You can now play online against others on any platform, in real time or asynchronously. Purchasing the Complete Game allows you to create your own decks for use in singleplayer and multiplayer, and create your own multiplayer games.

Oceans was released right before the Covid spread in the U.S. , and honestly was the last board game we played before the lockdowns. I had hoped to use the app to play online with family, but there is no online features and a small micro transaction to unlock 2 player "couch coop". No biggie on the micro transaction. It's refreshing to see a 1 dollar decent unlock, effectively giving you a free demo and 1 dollar for something closer to the board game. Will review again if/when online happens
Almost brilliant - great graphics, UI and game of course is fantastic. However - there are a couple of bugs regarding zoom in of cards and deep deck being inaccessible after a while (others have mentioned). Also, I bought the deep deck upgrade package without online play, but unfortunately can't access the new deep cards without presumably the deck editor which isn't included. This is quite misleading, and I'm probably going to get this refunded if not fixed.
This is a great board game, but the digital adaptation is incredibly buggy. The AI opponents crash the game when they think too hard, additional aging options don't work well together, some of the game rules don't seem to be implemented correctly, and there are numerous graphical bugs (especially with displaying supposedly hidden cards during pass and play). There are no local options for playing games with more than 2 players.
My first experience with oceans was the board game so when i found out they made a mobile version I had to play it. The game its self is pretty much like the original board game, fun and each game can end up very different. On mobile it can be a little difficult (still doable) to play because of how much is on the screen but its actually quite great on pc (playing on an emulator).
