Cannot pay to disable ads. All of my payment methods decline for no reason, yet I can pay for other stuff in the Google Play Store with no problems. Video ads play before every level and every retry. They are extremely long ads that often give you no way to ever leave the ad screen. In those cases you'd have to force close the game and I guess try to reboot it. This game is intolerable in its current state. I just want to pay for the product and enjoy the product. Is that too much to ask for?
Not what I'm looking for in a puzzle game. The puzzles are decent and it is technically well made, but having to wait in realtime for your ability to recharge in a turn based game, having to wait to decline to watch ads and having a consumable system put me off. I appreciate being able to remove the ads with a purchase but that wouldn't fix the other issues that put friction around the puzzles

there must be a middle ground between a way to slay and a way to smash. real-time waiting in a turn-based game is not fun. the other mechanics are very interesting. and the bat shattering enemies is way better than the gore in slay. but still, this game has similar issues as slay. you come to levels that seem unbeatable no matter what you do. and here i thought the red and yellow highlights meant this game was just going to play itself. it doesn't. and at some point you won't play it either.
