This game is only similar to smashing four in the sense that it's a bounce battle game, that is where the similarities end. Game is tons of fun, just wish there was more to do once you hit your limits in ranked. Game is desperate for some kind of endless play mode. Gold gain is in the gutter, which sucks since upgrading is so expensive. Also, the matchmaking system is complete trash, if not for that Id give this 5 stars. Game is apparently no longer supported, no content patches in over a year.
The game is fun but everything is do unbalanced. The game is mostly pay to win or pure luck on getting better characters. Once you get to a point you can pull anything because your quest doesn't give you anything and the game developers doesn't update the game and does balance out the game. This game would have so much more potential if the game devs actually did something.
Honestly a fun game with fun mechanics. But all you fight is bots! And theyre way higher level than you are. I'm at the 4600 trophy range and it becomes very boring when you're not fighting real people on ranked. You can't progress without spending money at that point. Plus, you need way too many in-game resources to upgrade your own characters.
This game could be fun. The in game economy is bad at the moment. The only method of getting resources is playing ranked matches for chests. As you get higher in levels you need a crazy amount of in game currency, it badly needs adjusted. But the main problem is the bots. There aren't enough players, so you have to play bots. They level as you gain trophies. However the bots scale too quickly. We can't get them to understand that it needs changed, that people will quit. Frustrating.
