Man the tail gun turret in this WWII action/arcade shooter! Use your phone's gyroscope or touchscreen to aim your guns, and touch either red button to open fire.
The tail gunner was a critical role in the crew of bombers like the B-17, B-24, B-25, and B-29.
Guns! Rack your twin .50-cals to defend your bomber against the ever-growing waves of Axis fighters.
Planes! Me-109s, FW-190s, Bf-110s, whatever the Axis can throw at you.
Lives! You only get 5. Once 5 enemy fighters make it past your defenses, it's game over for you and your flight crew.
Ammo! As in unlimited, you'll never run out! Just keep an eye on how hot your guns are; if they overheat, the enemy won't wait for them to cool down before swooping in for the kill.
This game is graphically demanding, which means it will gleefully eat your battery. Don't play if you're without a charger and waiting for that call from the hospital to let you know your new kidney has arrived.
If you're aiming using your gyroscope and it drifts out of alignment (or you want to face a different direction), just point your phone at where the "center" should be and hit the Align button at bottom left.

This is a fantastic game. Very enjoyable with increasing challenge as you progress. I've been playing this for years and it still keeps me coming back for more. You really need to become a master of leading your targets, and knowing when to use one or more of the other weapons in your arsenal. Great playability, graphics, music, and motion mechanics. If you want to increase the realism of the turret, play it in a chair that spins. Very light on ads and high on enjoyment! Kudos to the developer!
I really enjoy the many modes this game can be played. Gyroscopic play is reliable. I also like how the game can be fully enjoyed without a great financial investment. They provide a decent means to play the full version, earn enough "war Bond" money to get the complete game. Finally, unlike many of these games, the developers are listening to feedback and responding.
Very fun time killer. Good for a quick pickup game. The train I'm only giving 3 stars is because there's no point. Why am I playing? There is no story, upgrades or unlocks at all. Playing just to play is nice but having something to work towards would make this a 4-5 star game easy. Try adding some weapon upgrades. So adding some challenges. Like daily or weekly missions. You have a very strong base game. I'd love to see you do more with it!
Ok, this is just mindless fun! The big band music and images from the era are a great touch. I really liked the floating targets in the beginner levels which lead the enemy aircraft; helpful for honing your skills a bit. (Side note: I grew up learning to trap shoot so the simulation of leading the target is really accurate.) Especially impressive is just knowing that this game was developed by a team of one; great work.
