About Solar Smash 2D: Destroy Planet
Solar Smash 2D is a spin off from the original Solar Smash by the same developers, this game was designed to allow for different technology to be utilised and allow for unique destruction mechanics.
It features the ability to break planets into pieces and each planet will float and move with its own physics, players can control or spawn in spaceships and create huge space battles, or you can draw in your own planet with any design you want.

a really fun game, but I wish there was more to it though, like more choices of ships for a custom ship selection. also, there some kind of glitch with the ship going through a wormhole. I went through one with a custom ship, and when I get to the other system, it just disappears. idk if it is normal but maybe can we keep the ship control on after we exit the wormhole? otherwise, it is a pretty good game!
Love game, amazing potential, but there are a few things I want to point out. First, I like the idea of the point 5 thing if you destroy or help a ship, but I feel like you need to destroy more ships than you would need to. I dislike the Union and the Syndicate and i love it when we are enemies. But I think would be a lot easier is if you could just select what nations you wanted to be at war, neutrality, and etc. with. Also plz more tools of destruction, and maybe trade with other nations also!
I remember back in 2021 or 2022 I first found this game, the sandbox part of this game made it so much fun. Creating space battles was fun, and the simplicity of it was so addictive. Later in February of 2024 I came back to it, the simplicity was gone, there was all sorts of customizable ship options and whatnot. For clarification, I would've left 5 stars if the complexity, even if not much, wasn't dulled down by the currency mechanic. It makes the game less fun.
Everything's perfect. Just think that the banished should have more units and add it to the factions that you can place down. Also, I think it would be interesting to be able to place the artillery like defenses or the shield when making a custom world. It would be cool if the hive could sometimes capture enemies they defeat instead of blowing them up. The civilian/independent capital ship should have a little defense. Great game overall, though!
