Way better than "Words with Friends!! Cutie Chums makes it more personalized! Absolutely love the colors and animation. I really like the "Best Word" feature, it makes me strive for that better score and helps expand word knowledge at the same time. Hands down so much better than a plain grid and just get what ya get feeling.
I've been playing this for years and it's the best of its kind. I can't speak to the ads because I paid for the ad free version many years ago. But the dictionary is very strange. Often, the definition of a played word is just an incorrect spelling of that word, or a completely different word altogether. So why was it accepted? Meanwhile things that are absolutely real words are rejected. ??? It's the best option, but that can make it frustrating.
I have enjoyed Word Chums for years. It's fun to have real people to play with or switch to a Chumbot game for something more fast paced. Too bad so many people have begun using cheat apps to up their scores, though, by finding words for them. Kind of defeats the purpose and spoils the fun. It's a great mind exercise! UPDATE 03/26: They have disabled the survey feature for earning coins; the algorithm for assigning letters has changed, both forcing purchase of coins if you want in-game helps.
Started how fine but after a few wins you get bombarded with ads! Literally ads after almost every word played. I only play against the computer and you only start with 14 tickets, one ticket per game. Once you play 14 games you have to buy more to continue playing against the computer. Will be uninstalling once I use them all, not worth paying to get more when there's not even a way to earn more!
