The format of this game is perfect. There's no energy or a need to be connected to a server. NO MICRO TRANSACTIONS 😊. I think the developer got it spot on. If you make a MM4 can you add off-road vehicles, moto gp style motorcycle, dirt bikes, and maybe stock cars (NASCAR style). You've also built a platform that can transfer to other major sports. This is a wonderful product and worthwhile.
Edit : After some time I have discovered a problem. The game is far too easy. After the first two seasons I have won every championship and already am at the top level Winning 80% to 100% of every race! So hopefully a patch comes to raise the difficulty level a good bit higher than it is now. The formula for success is way too predictable. Original review : I bought this even though some of the reviews pointed out some stuff I might not like compared to the previous games in the series. So far, though... I'm enjoying this thoroughly. Mostly good changes with hardly any bad changes. That being said, Hopefully MM3 will not get abandoned nearly as fast as 2 did, because if it does I will not buy the next one. Still quite a bit of stuff I think could be added to 3 w/o needing a huge revamp.
I got this game for free, but would have paid full price. I had only played the first MM game and this installment expands upon and adds to nearly everything from the first game. There is a bit of a learning curve, and the car customization and visuals are behind F1 Manager, but this game is a year older and makes up for it by not being pay to win.
I think PlaySport has done a pretty good job here with MM3. It maintains the accessibility and nuance of their 2nd mobile entry, but introduces a number of quality of life different game mechanics over the previous game. The card system for the qualifying heats is one big change I was unsure of at first, but after a few races have become quite fond of. It does seem a bit like a simplification over MM2, but I enjoy the concept of testing thing and seeing what sticks. Anyways, the game is great
