It's a really fun game, however the game play is too repetitive and the progress is really just too painfully slow. No matter if you're playing through single player or against people. I didn't even make through lvl 1 all the way and have been playing for a few weeks. If they balanced the game out a bit more and made progressing a bit easier without having to pay to progress faster I would actually consider paying some to help contribute to the game so they could make it better. Uninstalled.
I like this game the only problem is I have watched ads to get rewards 5 or 6 times and it doesn't give me anything after the ad plays, other than that it's a great game but I won't be watching ads until I know that's fixed. I have clicked the button to get 20 summon gems in a match and after watching the ad I don't get anything and the game acts like I didn't even watch a ad.
Good concept, cool art, great time killer. Only problem (and a glaring one at that) is the leveling. Ex: ive been stuck on chapter 2-7 for weeks now, maybe i dont know how to play, but it seems no matter how many times i level or ascend my monster the enemy is just as strong if not stronger. I dont have a problem with pay to win but if thats what its going to take to even play the campaign im good.
It's a fun game for tower defense, but progression is painfully slow for causal play. Not enough rewards compared to the amount of hero leveling needed to pass new levels. I spend more energy raiding old levels than passing new ones. What's kept me playing is the good variety in hero types and the PVP battles keep it from being too repetitive. The worst part is the frequent app updates with drastic changes, such as entire chapters changing enemies/maps and menus being inconveniently moved.
