I've sunk over 70 hours into this game just THIS month and That's just on my phone! I'm definitely hooked. The gameplay is great, so many team comps and strategies to work with. The art is also great, the character designs are cool and elegant and the boss designs *chef's kiss* very Eldritch horror. OH but the story, the story is amazing I can't recommend this game enough.
My new hyperfixation! I'm still at the prologue though. The art style is so freakin awesome! The story is so engaging (I love Doll and Olgier the most by the way). The voice of the characters are so good! I love Doll's the most. Though she sounds kinda condescending, but still super calming and kinda...rawr? Anyways, I haven't gotten through the prologue but I'm already liking it. Gonna give another review later. Though, would've been better if we could customize our character :3.
I love this game. The cons just don't hold a candle to the pros for me to give it less than 5 stars. The English localization is a work in progress. Game is amazingly, brutally difficult. Pull rates are rough when you're going for the limited banners, but it's not a problem pulling the standard stuff. The different unique mechanics are so much fun. If you like deck building RPGs and gachas, try it. Best of it's kind that I've played.
Morimens is a gacha with gameplay mechanics similar to Slay the Spire, but unlike others that have simply copied StS one-to-one, this game takes those mechanics and expands on them beautifully. The developers are still new, but they have been prompt with bug fixes, accept suggestions from across the community, and have steadily improved the game over time. There have been missteps, but it's a well-crafted game with great artwork and a mature Lovecraftian setting.
