The story is okay, but it doesn't follow the ADs at all. Basically instead of destroying a smaller number to join levels and defeat the boss on the map eventually, you are having to put characters out on the field with powers and just waiting. I feel like this was mostly thrown together without thought and then the ADs were made which just lie about the game itself. Honestly, it would be fine if you had the choice to do those tower/map ADs they so lovingly put together, but it isn't part of it.
The game itself is pretty fun and I'd rate it much higher but the fact that new characters are regularly released which of course you have to pay for, completely dominate the game, prepare to get beat by much worse players that are lower levels that are willing to buy the new character every time it comes out. Overall, they could do a better job of making all characters more level.
If you desire to waste money and lose battles then this is the game for you. I have two monthly subscriptions. Imagine watching characters that you build in rank only to lose 21 times in a row, in the arena. Imagine spending money only to watch other players spend more money to build up their characters and the designers of this game laugh all the way to the bank. Not a fun, enjoyable game because they are constantly bringing in new characters that are costly to purchase and costly to build.
Nothing like the fake ad of the game! Most of the features gated until player has leveled up a lot. So many things supposedly free are not actually free, but behind paywall. Like "this function/reward is free... AFTER you've paid for VIP!". It's also "funny" player may find the pleasure of starting to lose to much lower level opponents without reason in solo portion of the game, despite player having most of the perks. The "alliance" trash was the last straw for me, so the game is goner now...
