I played the first World Robot Boxing. This was decent comparatively, but I dislike the joystick controller. I don't see a way to change it to the classic 4 arrow buttons I'm used to. I think the game was good, but the beginning feels slightly force-fed (in my opinion), but that might just be due to me having played the original a few seconds before. Good game overall. I like how you kept the designs of the bots from the previous game and brought them over to this one.
From first impressions the game looks pretty nice, with increased graphics and smoother animations. The problem is the lootbox system, the overuse of reskins and assets, and a overall boring game. I can see why it's way more impressionable to younger audiences. I know it's hard making new models for your game, heck even I sometimes reuse models sometimes. But please put some effort into your game, otherwise you're just milking a movie for money. - Chalcogens
Mechanics of the game are easy to pick up, but during high playing times glitching during fighting may occur. The events in this game are fun however they do become redundant, however the prizes of being able to obtain new robots is pretty easy. Do not expect to have a strong team unless you spend some time on this game. The images are great compared to other robot games and are not as cartoonish. Clan mode also gives a great team feel to the game. Definitely a must try if you are into action.
In terms of raw gameplay, I like the simpler two-dimensional fighting mechanics than what was in the previous WRB. It's easier to handle, basically, if a bit repetitive after a while. I'm disappointed that robots from the previous game didn't actually carry over. So basically I see better performance and handling, but dismally less variety in content. It's kind of a reverse on WRB I. The blatant cash grabs are just as prominent as before, though.
