I honestly always liked this game. I started over after some time and saw a new mini game in it introduced lately. I played it a lot for a week and made good progress. I also had a lot of points to redeem in a game shop for rewards. Yesterday, after a maintenance update, I saw that this game became unavailable to me because now it unlocks on lv 104. I lost everything. I don't see how it's fair to do this. I played a lot of mobile games, some pretty scammy, but this is my worst experience ever.
It's an amazing game! But, no matter how hard you work, you WILL NOT get good loot/items from events. There is a harsh pay wall that prevents you from getting good stuff from events. Ranging from energy limits in the maze, to anchor limits in one of the new events. You'll never get enough anchors to complete the event, but they're very ready to *sell you some more. Do better rage mage. You have so much potential. I'll 5* if you just fix the only way to get good rewards. We all can't pay to win.
It has a fun loop of drawing cards and getting new gear so you can progress through stages. The problem is when you hit a wall in the stages and run out of cards. The only way to get more cards then is to either pay real money or use the "island loot" system, but that only allows you to get around 12 cards or so every 5 minutes. I suppose this would be fine if it happened automatically while offline but it has to be done manually. So it gets to a point where you literally can't play anymore.
Great game, id give it a higher rating, but the events are bull. I try and try but can never get anything good from events. I can see that they won't hesitate to offer "packs" to buy things to allow you to actually finish an event and get good stuff, but if you don't buy em, you won't get anything from the events. Help us players out @RageMage, we don't deserve paywalls when we work hard.
