Design futuristic factories from the ground up in this free to play adventure. Place devices like synthesizers, chemical mixers, and ice guns in your sandship factory. The more devices you have, the greater your automated productivity. Connect those devices with conveyor belts to craft a wide variety of materials, from copper wires and combustion engines to ancient technology utilizing the mythic power of the overwell. Upgrade your sandship and add bigger factories to get the space you’ll need to produce more complex items. Trade the incredible stuff you make to earn credits, XP and get old crates filled with scientific research from the distant past. This ancient knowledge gives your sandship new abilities, becoming stronger, smarter, and more powerful than she’s been in a long, long time.
Your engineering mentor is Harvey, a tenacious one-eyed cyborg who needs your help to reconnect with his past. Harvey will show you the ropes of sandship engineering as you build and maintain more complex factories on a desert journey. Are you ready to voyage through a mysterious alien desert with many obstacles in your path? The planet is inhabited by an unusual assortment of robots and aliens. Some are friendly and astounded by your sandship. Others are hostile and want to see your sandship destroyed, but you’re not sure why. Complete quests to meet new characters, uncover ancient civilizations, hear campfire stories and learn how this once industrious world crumbled in the distant past.
There’s so much to discover on-board a sandship. Solve factory floor puzzles, then create your own to share with other players. Get creative in the sandbox to try out new setups without using any resources. Build an enigmatic underwell to mine precious resources, but be prepared to defend against hordes of extraterrestrial enemies to collect them. New features and places to explore are added continuously. The universe of Sandship is constantly expanding.

it nails the factory aspect really well! however I have to rate it low because you won't actually get to play the game due to the fact that it puts so many arbitrary wait times on everything. want to get more coins to build a bigger base? wait 5 minutes to complete an order for one third of the money you need. want to do research? coins, materials and rare items you can only get one or two of like every 30 minutes. factory Sims are slow but this is just annoying pacing where you can't move on
I wish I could give this game a higher rating since I enjoy setting up production lines, and there's lots of diverse items to make. But I can't justify it for these reasons: 1. I bought a transporter pack so I could have 2 transporters for doing contracts, but one day the 2nd one vanished. Don't be a fool like me and rebuy a 2nd transporter. A few weeks later the 2nd transporter is once again gone. I won't be fooled into buying another pack. 2. The help part of the app doesn't work.
The base mechanics and idea of the game is fascinating and fun but by level 4, progression either requires waiting for days to complete orders, or begin spending money to get more gems and coins. The game does achieve its niche well at first, but unless the progression is fixed somehow, it is unplayable as it currently is.
Fun mechanics, great concept. Really ruined by paywall. I basically hop on once a day to collect and start another long mission because credits are impossible to come by for research without paying money unless you spend 15 seconds a day on it like I do at this point since I'm stuck waiting for credits to research. it's like the game is designed for you not to play it. You should be able to sell excess materials for credits to the. research. that would solve the material cap and credit wall.
