Ive played for a bit and im starting to enjoy the work I have done so far but # stars seems resonable because the money growth is vary slow. Update- I just got my 20th rebirth and i can get another rebirth in under 10min, and with the purchase of the big square island it makes progression much faster and constant, and now I'm giving it a 5 star because I have learned how to manage my money better in this game.
Fantastic game! A few critiques, though. I know devs need to make $, but the last several times I've opened the app, I've gotten an ad within 30 seconds of starting to play. Ads are fine, but they kick off too quickly. Second: I like the axe and TNT mechanics to clear obstacles, but one of three things needs to change: reduce the cooldown timer for a free one (maybe 15-30 minutes), reduce the number needed to clear the obstacle (maybe 2 instead of 4), or make clearing obstacles permanent.
Started out okay, but after a very short time it got extremely repetitive and boring. There is no storyline whatsoever so all you do is build a few things, wait until you get money, then build some more. A poorly executed tech tree makes an attempt to keep ones interest but, like the money aspect, the science is just gained and used in the same manor over and over. And then the constant need to see the Facebook link as well as "offers for a 'great' deal for only $6.99" and it looks like a cash.
I like the game. It's cute, simple, and fun. But holy cow this app is filled to the brim with ads. Honestly, you don't need to constantly bombard me with offers to pay real money for things. The ad at the bottom of the screen, really? You make me watch 4 ads in a row to remove mountains or forests, you randomly pop up an ad after saying "A word from our sponsor" and also constantly bug me to pay cash for expansions or resources? The game is fun, no doubt, but it's ruined by the adpocalypse.
