About This App
From the makers of the Persona series, Shin Megami Tensei Liberation Dx2 is the latest entry in the three-decade-long Megami Tensei video game franchise; bringing its dark themes, thrilling battles and mysterious storylines to life, to mobile platforms!
Take on the role of a Devil Downloader, also known as a Dx2.
Dx2s are able to summon and command demons using a special smartphone app.
Led by a mysterious man, you gain access to this special app and become a member of the Liberators, a secret organization that fights to protect the world from an opposing faction of Dx2s.
The enemy is known only as the Acolytes.
Driven by their own ideology, the Acolytes abuse their demon-summoning capabilities to wreak chaos, and are secretly eliminating people with high empathy quotients (EQ) who pose a threat to their goals.

I lost access to my account, but Support was able to recover it. Rare support W. Hadn't played the game in awhile and wanted to get back into it, at least if you're a paying customer and you keep your transcripts from when you spent $ on the game (like in your email), they may be able to help. Definitely going to be sticking around despite the crazy prices for the the packs.
Played it a few years ago and had plenty of fun. The level spike needed for late game story comes a bit out of nowhere. The game was fairly F2P friendly when treating the game as a single player experience. Unfortunately, the account system sucks. Tied to a single device and only transferable via Facebook connection or getting the transfer code from your current device. As such, I have lost my account. If there's a way for me to retrieve it I'd be more than happy to get it back.
While some of the store items can go up to extortionate prices, you can play through the main story and a good deal of the content without having to pay anything. The game is really generous with Gems and items, even more so for completing content. Stamina can go above the max, so you don't really have to worry too much about being locked out of playing. The game's a take on SMT's Press Turn system, simple for new players and familiar to old players. Overall, a good take on the Gacha formula!
It's pretty fun but pvp is nearly unplayable ever since they basically gave away a very unbalanced character. Also the purchases are stupidly overpriced. The only way to gurantee pulling a good monster is an 80 dollar anniversary special. Other "deals" are more than a dollar per pull. Come on sega. If you cut these prices by 50-75% I will gladly throw money at this game. But I can't in good conscience spend more than a new big budget game on an in-app purchase for a mobile game.
