Chinese and Japanese dictionaries within the DioDict app service for Andriod will be terminated from 12:00 on Friday, May 2, 2025.
You cannot use Chinese and Japanese dictionaries after closing.
In this regard, we will guide you through the refund process as follows for those who have recently purchased.

■ Refund Policy
- Eligibility: Purchasers of Chinese and Japanese within the DioDict for Android from April 01, 2025 to the date of this announcement
- Submission period: From the date of this notice to May 31, 2025 (Sat) 24:00 (24 days)
- How to apply: Fill out the “Refund Request Information” below and send an email ([email protected])
- Refund payment date: within 30 days after the completion of the application (May 31, 2025)

- A copy of the passbook (a copy of the passbook with the account holder/bank name/account number specified, and a mobile banking passbook capture is also acceptable)

- If the users do not request for the refund by the closing date (May 31, 2025), no refund will be given.
- Refunds will not be given if the applicant's name and bank account do not match.

I had duly purchased as many as two dictionaries via the stupid diodict + n (n=1,2,3, ad nauseam) system. The purchased ones wouldn't open, showing just a pop-up message to download Diodict3, which was not even on the Play Store except for Diodict + (no serial number). So, I had to download it but quite embarrassingly the new Diodict asked me to purchase the same dictionaries again. Explain to me what happened with the old system.
I paid for multiple dictionaries on the app (Diodict 3, 4, etc) and then they relisted it with a new Google Play ID, bricked the old ones and demanded payment again. These products are not cheap. This is, quite simply, fraud. If the company comes clean and honours purchases, I will remove or edit this review. However, if you can read this, do not trust this company.
Compared with the previous Chinese Korean, Korean Chinese dict I still prefer the previosu version. Previously was very intense, so useful and user friendly dict apps (was the best Korean Chinese dict ever). However now too simple n not as much as information as before. Still, I m fans of diodict no matter how I ll used it for my language study.
Doesn't allow copying, even the headwords?!? Searching again multiple times is not possible too :) Not a beginner friendly dictionary app... I don't recommend this to non-native speakers. This dictionary tries to make things complicated.
