This is definitely a bait and switch product. There is only the option to play a long tutorial mode, and a couple of side games, the campaign and all other main features advertised on the store page are behind an 8$ pay wall. This just feels like it's set up to trick people or guilt parents into buying this game and that's not right. for that money I don't see why someone wouldn't just play a console game or generally expect a lot more than this game.
really enjoy the game. I keep coming back to it. There's just something unique to it that keeps me interested. I had to take off a star for a couple non deal breaker reasons. First, sometimes when starting a new game, the game freezes. Closing and reopening the app fixes it. Second, after completing conquests the game play flattens out. Third, the puzzles, which are the best secondary game play imo, become impossible fairly quickly. There may be cheat codes to make them solvable, idk.
Decent game, but lots of bugs. I would really like a feature to report bugs. If this feature already exists, I was unable to find it. The repetitive music also drives me nuts. It's on maybe a 10-second loop? And I wouldn't mind turning the volume off if it wasn't important to hear the barbarians. Maybe add a clear visual cue like a red pulse on the screen? In a year or two, I bet this will be a 4-star game. It's got SO much potential.
man I really wanna like this game. there are punishing difficult to learn things about the game that don't always feel fair. exploration can be fun but some decisions were frustrating. examples: obelisks, there's no answers on the wiki and the swings are enormous. I had 3 show up back to back and failed two of them. my pop is now -40 faith -27. another question why do boars affect woodcutters and not houses? a lil more help for the riddle disinclined and a lil better compendium pls
