I have used this application for several years now, and for me this was the best solution to simulate a true notebook Experience. One area where I think improvments can be made is moving a page around when a specific size is selected. It can be frustrating to write with my hand at the edge of my tablet, when there can be capability to add more of a buffer to the page.
I gave it an honest shot. While it is a beautiful app, it lacks the basic staples needed for success. No collaboration, no ability to rearrange notes within a notebook, and most importantly, NO SYNC. This is almost laughable! What powerful note taking app doesn't sync? Doing manual backups and restorations is not only archaic, it is a major liability. How easy is it to lose an entire year of work by accidentally resorting an incorrect backup? Come on guys, this is a no brainer. UPDATE: I dropped from three stars to two stars. I have lost numerous documents because of the lack of syncing options. Also, there has been more than enough time for Squid to update their app to allow automatic syncing. While I understand you can set an automatic cloud update, this is still not helpful because you have to manually restore a backup EVERY SINGLE TIME you use a different device. It is ridiculous.
Works great for drawing, writing, tracing. It's simple and I like that I'm using all of the free tools, and it's easier than learning how to use the Autodesk app. There are some limited free features, so you do have to freehand shapes and lines, but it works for my purposes. There are also different backgrounds like grids, lines, and even colors of your choice. Just wish they have the option of copying and pasting into different files within the app.
I loved this app. Seriously considered switching to this exclusively, however, there are some drawbacks. One, there isn't an option to sync to onedrive or googledrive. Huge issue for me, considering I really wanted a way to store all my notes in college. Two, I hate the organization of this app. I can't make folders or subfolders or color coding. Three, I hate the fact that I can't type notes as well. Sometimes I want to handwrite but other times I don't. I hope they update soon.
