Quirky and fun with lots of build variety—I love pushing deeper in Endless Mode. That said, the difficulty spikes hard in the late stages for some characters, and even strong builds can hit a wall. Endless Mode also ramps up fast; a smoother curve would make it more rewarding. Hoping the devs tweak the balance a bit, because there's a great game here that just needs a little fine-tuning.
Overall it's a good implementation of the main gameplay mechanic. The graphics and sound are a little rough, and the physics are kind of wonky, but if you want a claw game RPG this is a great choice. Something I didn't realize before I played was that I don't like claw games, so I'm not going to spend much time on it, but that's not the game's fault
Resource intensive for older phones like mine. drains battery. but then again, it is a physics-based game. that said! GREAT roguelike, lots of mechanics to play around with, great variety in the characters and their unique abilities. embrace magnets, and turn things metal. it's strong. or go with glass and glass cleaner. that's also good. this game is my current zone-out game. and I got it for ten cents. so, for a ten-cent game, Dungeon Clawler is top of its class, truly excellent.
A good idea but poorly executed. this game is horribly imbalanced. You're already up against RNG nonsense. now add completely overpowered enemies and an abundance of underwhelming items and you have a recipe for frustration. I also have the game on steam and managed to win a couple of rounds, so it's not a skill issue. on this version I can't win to save my life and it makes me not want to play.
