It's fun. The graphics are adorable. I was given (actually *given* for free) enough of whatever the currency is that you can buy in-game, diamonds, gens, jewels; whatever. I bought the cutest little witch outfit. I love watching them; I hate how many super expensive packs there are. I can't just play the game without tapping the damn button that instantly leaves the app to ask me to buy a $25 as a "gift" to me. A gift would be *NOT* paying more than the game is worth gor a pack!
Great game overall. My only issue is with the late game content. From each level to the next, there's an extreme spike in difficulty, with more and more limits on ways to make your hunters stronger. That just doesn't make sense. The game already requires a LOT of grinding, and the way I see it, if you are willing to put in the time and effort, then there should be no limit on how strong your hunters can become. The late game content is "a lot of work for a little reward".
The game is beautiful. The gameplay is very intriguing, yet simplistic. The art style is very appealing, and it doesn't drain my battery or overheat my phone. The monetization is alright.. but it's part of the reason I'm only at 3 stars. The one thing I can't stand is when you put ad removal on a subscription. That's just ridiculous. Let me pay for lifetime removal at the cost of Evil Hunter Premium, and remove it from the Premium benefits. It should essentially be the cost of the full game.
Pros: Fun repeatability, ads not forced unless you do it, fun class builds to try. Cons: Not enough customizable buildings. Progress really gets slowed down once you hit tortment difficulty. Moving up from there can take a long time, especially with getting new gear. I know it's not an idle game, but it really ought to be with how long it can take to progress. Managing 18 different hunters can be tedious and a bit annoying especially when you forget to level them up or buy them new gear.
