Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'm giving it two stars because the Zwift integration works very well. I'm deducting stars because the linking with external apps such as Strava and Garmin barely works or doesn't work at all. I use this app with the Technogym MyRun which is a nice treadmill but this app needs work. Even worse, if your workout doesn't sync for some reason, there's no way to download a .fit file so that it can be manually synched. Unreal. Technogym can do better.
Has been improving over the past few years. Been using on a Lenovo 10" tablet with good success. Still have to power off the treadmill occasionally to get the Bluetooth to connect. Nov. 22, 2021 was one star: The app will occasionally connect to our MyRun. When it does connect, we enjoy using it. But even with power-cycling the app and the treadmill, it will randomly connect, with more often than not never showing the MyRun in the list. Gets old. :) That said, we love the treadmill itself.
I am very disappointed with the app. I am a Zwift user and I discovered that Technogym is not updating the Android app for over a year. I am not able to update MY RUN treadmill firmware with latest version of because I need the app >1.3 version, and it is only available for Apple. I sent a message asking for a solution for this problem, and if they didn't solve, I will request to refund. Very disappointed.
Works well enough to be usable but I'd recommend a newer Android devices, I used an older one and a new one and could see the difference especially with bluetooth reconnecting on its own whenever I start it up. Could we get some extra "programmable" workout runs? I also want a "random" incline walk that just goes with whatever speed I'm comfortable doing at that time and not necessarily tied to a faster "heart rate" type of pace. Sometimes we just want to watch a show and go for walk.
