About this app
In Miracle Merchant you become the apprentice of a master alchemist who creates potions for thirsty customers. By mixing and combining different ingredient cards you create powerful potions based on the needs of your customers.
Each game has a unique, randomly generated set of cards that will test your skills. By successfully completing games you can collect a variety of masterfully crafted potions. Daily tasks will keep you busy and you can compete with other players via online leaderboards.

Honestly a pretty good game. It's a simple but fun and challenging concept. Two things are keeping it from 5 stars, and it's not adds. Simplest issue is the daily game feature being bugged. No idea what's wrong with it, but might be fine to remove it. The big issue is the challenges to unlock customers. It's a lot of rng, not only in the cards you need, but what the goal will be to begin with. Some literally aren't doable without insane amounts of luck or hours of playtime, which sucks.
I think this game is really neat. I disagree with the other reviews saying it needs to have more things to do. It's simple and sweet. The basic nature of it feels like a classic game such as tetris or solitaire- you can't go wrong with that. I will say I was expecting something different when I downloaded it, but I'm not at all upset. It would be neat to be able to spend potion earnings on new sets of cards, or to view a "recipe book" of the different combinations you make.
The first few levels are vastly better than the rest. Once you actually buy it, it nearly immediately just becomes "how do I get rid of the negatives so I don't lose" and it's less of a fun puzzle and more of an irritating romp. If they'd drop the amount of black cards by 25-45% it would so much more fun and satisfying because you'd be able to make more than "minor [color] potion of the void" which is all you end up making most of the time.
I paid for the full version, but it falls short of my hopes, and I'm disappointed. The intro animation is so unique and full of interesting little details! So is the design for the game overall. I love the look. Sadly, the details and interest are purely visual. MM is missing a story and a heart. If the customers had names and stories revealed through dialogue — why are they buying this potion? what is it for? — it would hold my interest. As it is, it's day 2, and I'm already bored.
