If there were a MINUS 10 option in the ratings, it would what this app gets. Cannot stop, cannot remove, it is preinstalled and just another way to be tracked. It is bloatware, spyware, trackware, and utterly useless to anyone but tracphone. Disgusted, and I am going to get another phone from another provider. Sick and tired of giving out info to people and companies that have not asked or let me know they were doing it. I feel raped. And I didn't even get dinner before, or a kiss after!
Horrible. Unless the apps purpose is to be annoying. Then it gets five stars. I have never needed to use this app. I didnt install it. Even after disabling, turning off notifications, etc, this app still pops up with notifications. Always two in a row. Every day, telling me the same thing it did the day before. Hello Im an app you dont need or want, The app you disabled, uninstalled and tried to escape, chopping through the door with an axe "Its Johnny!!"
It auto updates without permission despite being turned off, takes up both battery and HD space, continuously restarts itself, can't be uninstalled, and the notifications never stop. This app literally doesn't do anything but collect my information. Need phone info? Settings. Need more in depth control? Developer mode. If I wanted to be told what to do with my own device, I would have bought an Iphone.
"Bloatware" it's installed by default on TracFone phones (includes straight talk and a few others) I'm tech savvy and from what I can tell it doesn't add any features, and tracks phone usage. Update: within the hour of this review the dev told me I couldn't remove it... If you're curious, the app masks itself with the name 'wifi utility' (not shady at all.......)
