To start the developer states they do not share any data collected. However if you actually read their policy. They do. A sides from that sometimes it works great but sometimes it just doesn't work at all. I had a 20 minute training session that the app could not write. And there is no way to see the recording to try and submit it again after backing out of the note. To the developers: Yes I have enough space on my phone for it.
Impressed so far. I am amazed at how well it translates and even punctuates as it goes. It's not perfect, but it's the best I've experience so far when compared to several other types of free apps claiming to do the same thing. That said there are times when I'd forgotten to stop the recording where it should have recorded silence. What I found is it recorded in Chinese and it translated to some pretty disturbing and creepy things in English.
Same features (or less) as any other Chat GPT app. They charged me an annual fee. I asked to cancel within 24 hours, but there is no trial and NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I definitely do not recommend you to pay for the year off the bat. Emailed twice - no response. I guess I am stuck with the app for the next year. This is so much worse than any other app. Edit based on reply below: your response is misleading. I have canceled within 24 hours and was told it will be canceled in 2025
I subscribed as a VIP member to GPT Note, recorded an hour and a half meeting, and the recording is nowhere to be found. No transcript either. Wrote an email to the developers -- crickets. "Ability to save a recording (only the latest one)! No worries about losing recordings..." is definitely false advertising if the app is not actually saving recordings!!
