The game is overall rather I interesting. It's just the issue as with the more you choose to spend, it appears the algorithm works to make your chances of pulling powerful items more rare to obtain and unless you continue to throw money at the game, you won't level up your heroes in strength as quickly as when you initially chose to join and download the game. Marketing in this aspect needs to be re-worked to reward those who wish to spend instead of being F2P.
The reason it's 2 stars is because of the massive greed (I'm not f2p btw). A person's bank account shouldn't be a factor for every aspect of the game. The whales will still whale without the devs being insanely greedy. Pets, evolving characters, advancing adventure mode beyond a few levels every other day, useful upgrades, etc. will cost you money. They charge for everything that's decent and you never get enough for what you pay. I'd bet this game is dead in a year.
There is SO MUCH TO DO! They give you a ton of stuff for free, it's actually insane. Whales gift packs all of the time which helps EVERYONE! The gameplay is interesting, I like the art, and there a ton of different game modes. It's hard to knock this game, sure the Element heroes are all food, but that just makes it easier for you to Star up the rarer heroes as you play. This is probably the most feature rich mobile game of it's genre. Recommended!
This game was far better before they shut it down and reopened it in almost every way. Draws had better rates, you weren't capped on spending diamonds for the special draws, you got more player xp while idle and could actually do a campaign run at least 1x daily, now it takes 2 days to levle. If the Devs couldn't keep the game running the first time, they definitely won't be able to now. I wouldn't put any money into it like I did the last because it won't last, and you'll just be ripped off.
