Very original game with a unique movement mechanic that you won't see anywhere else. But you'll need a lot of patience for some of the obstacles, especially in the latter half of the game. The controls just aren't quick or precise enough for what's required, so I just had to keep trying some obstacles until I got lucky. Thankfully, the checkpoints are forgiving, so you never lose much progress.
Quite simply, the only great thing about this "game" is the artful design. That's where it begins and, sadly, ends. An ideal concept to teach an adolescent patience, but to create something that brings constant and unnecessary frustration, is idiotic. Because in the gaming world who wants to do this? Developers with nothing else better to do. They say it's an award winning game. So who gave it to them, the Inane Idiot Society? Kudos to the designers though; visually appealing.
I started out loving the game, but as others have noted, the game requires to much random chance to be enjoyable in later levels. It's a great concept that could've made for a great game. I wanted to finish it, but now I'm just going to uninstall it any look for something better.
If it wasn't for chapter 5, I would've given this game a full star review. The devs intentionally designed chapter 5 to be absolutely infuriating, and unfair. Each chapter gets increasingly more difficult as you progress. Spoiler alert: part of chapter 5 forces you into a minecart, and everytime you fall out, you instantly die. The devs intentionally put a checkpoint right before the downhill section, so that they can throw you in a death loop. The game was already challenging, dick move devs!
