I would love to give this five stars, really. It's a fantastic game, but there are no settings. Screen rotation is automatically set to "on" and playing at even the slightest angle will tilt the screen to portrait mode, where it is unplayable, making the entire game kind of unplayable. Cannot turn off the music without turning off your phone volume. Cannot make text bigger or higher contrast. These issues alone are making me uninstall, at least from my phone.
This is a delightful and addictive game that I already had on PC. Unfortunately, on the mobile version, the tiles are tiny and difficult to read. Also, the size & speed optimization challenges (which account for 90% of the gameplay) are harder to find in this version. Make sure you talk to the boss to see them - without them the biggest challenge is reading the tiny tiles!
A clever game for beginners to computer science. Also fun for kids! A step up from Robot Turtles, but still not, say, Spacechem. The developers do a fantastic job on their games, and charm oozes out of this like so many Goo Balls sent up pipes. If you're already good at this sort of thing, the Optional Completion Distinctions will give you plenty of challenge. And it's worth it for the ending.
Fun game, but not being able to save and load formats from previous completed levels is a hassle. Was disappointed that there's no multiplication or indirect if/then functions, which makes loading previous formats feel even more tedious. Love the art style and atmosphere.
