Game is decent, and wasn't too obvious of a money grab UNTIL I was about to level up an egg and found out they were withholding that level up by 1 piece because I couldn't beat the last boss of a level. They allowed me to inch my way up to the very last one (all not beating said level) until I got to the last piece. I'm at 1499 out of 1500, and no matter how many stages I beat of the level, I can not earn that one piece even though they let me earn small amounts up until this point. Ridiculous.
I can only imagine this game has a 4.6 because they get rid of bad reviews or people rate it too early on. It's a fun game, good idea, and nice art design. Unfortunately it's designed to be extremely grindy and you stop progressing fast. Examples: Needing 4k gold for the next upgrade, but getting like 500 gold from playing 1 level or needing hundreds of cards to level up a hero. It's also clear the company is super greedy based on how expensive they make everything in the shop. Very disappointed
Update. I have been playing this game every day for several months. Pros- No forced ads, challenging & strategic gameplay, the events & arena are fun! Cons- Doesn’t show total power for each team. Also, the ability to level up cards faster, it's super grindy & payout is minimal. Would like to earn more coins when passing levels & get more than 4 rare cards when opening chests bc the number of cards needed to upgrade is insane. Please offer more purchasable items at a more reasonable price.
Interesting battle mechanic. Art style nice. However several MAJOR flaws: 1. Very few game modes 2. Rewards severely lacking. 3. Tooooo much gold required for upgrades. 4. Toooo many copies of cards required for upgrade. 5. Store prices WAY to high for so little content. Paying VERY high price for a chest to get only 4 shards? Need 250 even at lower levels. No way to farm materials or money. After only few days can't progress any of my characters. Boring, greedy, uninstalled.
