I would like to know if position reporting is available to aid this genius app, I have a mobile environment surveillance system on my boat. I've been using it for years, perfect and easy to use! Also you have many models to choose from depending on your region. Edited because I had an issue with the readings and animation not loading but they quickly contacted me and sorted it out. They're super supportive. Most accurate and smooth forecasting app so far and I've tried heaps. I use it mainly for wind since i kitesurf.
One of the most important features for me, which is advertised as being available, is easy access to the NOAA depth charts... I looked everywhere for it, and even subscribed for a 'premium' trial in the hopes that this would unlock it. I gave up my search after 20 minutes. Why make it so hard to access this? It seems to me that it should be an active / enabled layer by default on an app tailored specifically for sailing, especially when the NOAA charts are free and publicly available.
I've found this app to be extremely useful in planning my many road trips across the country. The only downside is that the forecasting further out than just one day is accurate only half the time, which is probably not their fault since they're getting data from other sources. Nevertheless, I find it very accurate for current and near-future conditions.
