So I've played other turn based war games before, but this one I like very much. Other games it make you want to spend real money to upgrade and complete a level. This game, you have to be strategic in order to complete. I have a few extra bucks, to show my support. Great job devs, I didn't realize I've played 3 hours now. I'll share this on FB and Reddit.
This game appears to be based off the old PC game Panzer General. First the battles get Insanely hard quickly even on normal mode. I paid $6 I guess to "unlock" a plane that didn't appear to be any better than the rest. I also didn't even get to keep the plane in my main Army group. In short this could be a great game but as it is it's the perfect example of blatant pay-to-win.
Do NOT download this game. It is fun to play; however, it becomes obvious that the only goal is to keep you spending money. While I did not mind spending some money at first as I played some of the harder levels, it was obvious I would not win the match. I beat most all of the normal and hard levels except for a few when the enemy has unlimited resources and my units became weaker. Some other examples are that the enemy never runs out of fuel and they never have to rely on supply trucks.
Fun and addictive but takes time and it gets difficult quickly even in normal mode. Higher modes forget it. The enemy knows where you are but you dont know where they are. Their numbers are far superior and they have unlimited resources - you dont. Fun to play but Ive maxed out (level 7 for each) without spending $$ which I won't do especially since healing is so slow, planes outnumbered/hard to heal, resources are hard to find/access and enemy can move AND shoot, you can't. Really 2.5 stars.
