I played the original Ayakashi Ghost Guild and prefer the art and lack of 3D models of the original game. I also wish energy was allowed to compile when you level up instead of being wasted. I am waiting to see how long it takes to get a 5* or 6* as that really determines your ability to fully enjoy the game. I do love Sola and the little stories, but this game feels incomplete in comparison to its predecessor.
The art is beautiful, there are monthly events, and the story is okay. On the other hand, it is essentially a gambling game based on cards. Only jewel summons have a random chance of getting a 4 or 5 star card (practically necessary due to the absurd difficulty spikes in the story), which is a in game currency bought with real money. Too many features are locked behind higher levels; x4 battle speed, events, auctions, guilds, etc. Not consumer friendly. Very predatory gamling system
I played Ayakashi Ghost Guild back in the day and had played Otogi for a while until I kind of forgot about it in 2018/2019. I'm really glad it's back! It's a fun game with great characters, gorgeous artwork, and an interesting story. I also love that I can fully enjoy the game even without having to pour a bunch of money into the gacha elements. Definitely recommend!
gameplay is fun majority voice acting on most stuff except event characters in events is fine to deal with main issue is i checked the rankings on the new event I need to get to rank 699 to get a reward better then a tonic but most on the rankings have maxed out teams people like me can barely afford $5 to put on a mobile game like this its impossible to get any 5☆'s or good 4☆'s without paying insanely amount for jewels and the jewels summon is too much 300 per summon is insane same with mochi.
