Tricked & basically robbed. I can't believe I fell for it again. When running ads you can set a daily limit to how much you spend running them. Mine was $25 while using free promotional credit with a $6 booster package. You can also set a cap so it charges you $X at a time, and I set that to $100 so I would know in advance to expect a payment in case I went over. I was checking the promotional balance daily! and yet the same day it runs out, I'm charged nearly $130. And then the spam calls.
DO NOT PAY TO ADVERTISE WITH YELP! I did paid ads where you supposedly only pay for the leads you get. Lies. I got charged $221.23 and got 0 leads for what my company does! 0 jobs from this app. 0 customers. And in today I've paid them almost $300! It's a complete waste of money. Don't fall for it. They make it sound great but it's all bs. I've been on the phone trying to reach customer support for a refund for 45 minutes now and nobody answers! Horrible customer support!
Stay alert. This app is a misleading pay per click scam. They set you up with promotional credit and intentionally confuse the wording having separate pricing for ad boosts, logos, and differences as to what the promotional credit applies to. They also fake call, and bot click your ad to oblivion in order to fraudulently increase your ad traffic and blow up your bill. They will also bill you randomly rather than a fixed bill due date. Your bill is basically up to their discretion.
My ads where averaging 40-50 dollars a month when out of nowhere it jumped to 550. My card instantly flagged it as fraudulent and declined it and they have been attempting to charge me the 550 dollars twice or more a day for over 3 months now. I have canceled my card and completely blocked yelp from my entire bank account. I did not authorize to be charged 500 dollars. My ads have been cancelled and I have no intentions of restarting them. I have not gotten a single customer from yelp.
