For fans of the series, it's fun until about level 65 (1.5-2 months). After that, expect everyone to be running only gimmicky chars that get 2-4 attacks per round, which is definitely -not- Langrisser. Sure, gotta keep introducing newer, stronger characters to keep the whales spending, but they really lost the spirit of the series. Oh, and support will tell you stuff that conflicts with the in game info, and is flat out false according to veteran players. Applies to in game purchases as well.
I highly recommend this game. As a free to play player ive been playing for 4 years and in my opinion it is really friendly towards ftp as there are multiple opportunities to gain the currency needed for pulls without the need to put money into the game. Additionally the grind is highly mitigated as once you've accomplished the mission there is a button to immidielty repeat said mission. For beginners I recomend watching videos to help and to have patience as progress may be slow at times
One of the best games on the play store, great for casual or competitive players with a great story and lots of options. Extremely forgiving for free to play players or people spending less than 10 dollars a month. Why does it have such low ratings? There are some... detestable political things (WHY HEIN?!) but aside from that it seems really good. Had to lower rating, LLR rarity heroes are hard to get insanely OP units, don't love how exclusive they are but they return thankfully.
I've played for many years, what annoyed me was how some characters can't increase their bond level without you having unlocked other characters first, such an important stat bonus locked behind something petty like that was the straw that broke the camels back for me, yes you can wait half a year to save up and try and get that one character or you can just quit and play another game
