This is a decent music player for my Zumba class. I like that it tells me how long my playlist is so I can keep it to 60 minutes and I like that I can program breaks between songs. What is not useful is that I can't change up my playlist if I don't have Wi-Fi (and my gym is notorious for spotty wifi) even though all my songs are downloaded to my phone. So that makes it hard to make any music changes or accommodate requests in the middle of class.
I switched out of necessity to ZIN play a year ago ( no longer use a laptop). I'm an 8 year ZIN aged 67...so it was a bit of a leap for me as I'm not very techie. It took me about 6 weeks to work out my kinks and my facility's poor wifi but was aware that much of my issues came from having an older full to the brink mini iPad. Now ... I'm in heaven...I love this app and all I can do with it. There are a few songs from my earlier days I miss ... but all the other benefits make it so easy and fun!
I do like the app but kinda frustrated that it only has a limited amount of material. I just became an instructor. There are songs that I'd love to learn from years prior (taking classes before) but I don't have access to them on here. Paying $40 a month, I'd really appreciate access to it all! Yes, I can look it up on YouTube but I'd much rather have it all on my ZIN app. That being said, I do love what I have access to.
At times I add a new song to my current playlist, ALL the songs are downloaded again and/or command is not recognized. I play a video and it seems to lag. A message notifies I am not connected to the internet. The area I am in has constant signal. I have tried Wi-Fi and same results. It may be the operating system on my phone but no problem like this has occurred with the rest of my applications. Essentially I close and reopen the app. I am currently updated with this app.
