About This App
Hi! This is MobilePay. You know, that app that makes payments very, very easy: Send money to a friend (or someone you don't know), pay in shops, online, or in other apps. And that's far from the only thing you can do.
You can also use MobilePay to:
* Request money
* Receive money
* Pay your bills
* Have recurring payment agreements
* Split expenses in a group
* Collect money with a box
* Send (scheduled) money gifts wrapped in digital wrapping paper
Did we mention that it's completely safe to send money and pay with MobilePay? If that's not very, very easy, well, then we don't know…
The only thing you need (besides permission from your parents if you're under 18) is a payment card from and an account in a Danish bank – and a phone number, an email address, and MitID.
And remember, this app is only made for private use. If you want to use us for that, you can of course do that too – then you just need a business agreement. Luckily, you can get that very easily. Read more about it and much more at mobilepay.dk.
MobilePay is made in the Nordics with a love for simplification, so it's naturally available in Danish, English, Swedish, Finnish, and two kinds of Norwegian.

The app was good before, but the latest update messed things up. Even when transactions work fine, it says they failed. So, we have to double-check with the seller to make sure the money went through. It's a pain! Also, when we scan QR codes to pay, the app doesn't clearly show if the payment worked. Instead, it starts a strange timer with animations for no reason. Animations don't matter when basic functionality is gone. It's sad because the app used to be good. Hope issues can be fixed.
I used this app for years with no problems, but now it logged me out and keeps failing at the mitid verification step (without opening any window to actually do the verification). Support couldn't help and just suggested to factory reset my phone, which I will not do for just this app Edit: I managed to complete the verification, but had to install chrome and set it as default browser. Edit2: got logged out again, now with an error message saying the system is rooted (it isn't, LineageOS)
Core functionality is of course super useful, but UI leaves a lot to improve. On top of that list is that when searching for contacts, all their phone numbers are shown (mobile, home, work, etc), but you can't even see which is which, so have to try them one by one.
The "new" layout/interface of the app is absolute garbage. The previous layout/interface that MobilePay had before was intuitive and worked amazingly - now, everything is placed in weird locations, information that isn't necessary to highlight is dead center on the front page and one has to go through so much more to just perform the task that was so simple before. The old MobilePay development team made an amazing app and was then taken over by Vipp - and then created this awful version
